"Purple Halves" split our contributors down the middle and forced them to work in separate color palettes. The result is a double issue—the red book vs. the blue book. Oh whoops, not "versus"...just the red book and the blue book. There wasn't any competition. No friendly fire or playful sabotage. No sneak peaks at each other's work. These artists just minded their own business and stayed on the task at hand. ; )

Hey, what's with the
"Gently Damaged" issues?

Such is life—not every book that gets packaged and shipped to us has made it unscathed. And we don't feel it's appropriate to sell these at their full cost. We'd never sell a book that was torn or ripped or had experienced a great deal of misfortune, but there are always a handful that are slightly damaged. If you want 'em, we'll sell 'em to you at half of cost of the "pretty ones."
